Before and After shot
Last night was our first night home from an adventure to the wonderful Midwest and apparently the man was inspired to do a small home project.
For a good chunk of the year we have had the tv in the back room, which we called the den that has his computer and a loveseat. Pretty much he would fiddle on his computer, doing homework while I watched tv. Or we would sit together and veg out watching whatever seemed like a good idea at the time. And since it';s mostly him and me we didn't think it too big of a deal.
With the summer months although the back room is cool, it's not nearly as cold as the living room, which is where we spent most of our time as of the past few months with the AC going. So we would watch Netflix or amazon prime on one of our laptops and cuddle and struggle with sound and vision.
Thus came his brilliant idea yesterday of moving the tv in the living room, in front of our fireplace and making the decision to not have a fire this winter...which really is okay with me...at least this year.
We made a trip to Salvation Army and found a desk with drawer for 20 bucks. And he thought it would be perfect as our tv stand because the tv needed a little lift.
