Winners of My Valentine's Giveaway

So the day after Valentine's is bitter sweet, all extra candy, cards, decoration goes 50% off...so a savvy shopper can save money on next years ideas!

Some pocketbooks are lighter due to buying the unnecessary yet always appreciated flowers, chocolate, balloons and random other item that a loved one might want.

If you are wondering what I got...I of course got what every make up lover and collector wants...more make up...I scored pretty well. Though of course the hubby didn't necessarily pick it out himself...he just fronted the cash for it! But nonetheless I appreciated it and look forward to playing with it when I have more time.

It worked out to where the mister had the day off from work while I of course had my Monday schedule, work and basketball practice. Though work was pretty slow..which it allowed me time to catch up on my Charmed season 4 dvds that I am borrowing from the library. As well as I planned out the fun, Valentine's theme practice for my girls...considering its a bye week for them (meaning there is no game this weekend). Practice was fun and I will making a small entry about practice later.

However the real reason I wanted to blog was that with the day after Valentine's day comes the announcement of the winners for my giveaways I had running on my YouTube channel, Twitter and here on my blog.

So without further adue..here's the video of letting everyone know who won!!!!

More Giveaways to come

I have been looking through my own personal collection of favorite products and decided it was time to do a few more giveaways on my channel.

Although the downfall of having giveaways is there tend to be more subscribers who are looking into winning some free products...not necessarily looking to actually watch my videos on my channel.

So I'm thinking I will rotate between giveaways on my Youtube, Twitter, as well as Blog...so that everyone who is actually following me for the right reasons will know whats going on.

February giveaways were more focused on the YourSweetTreat products...I'm thinking next month will be a make up related product...think one of my personal favorite Mineral Eyeshadow Lines.

If you know me or follow me enough...this brand will just jump out at you! You just have to look at my make up tutorial videos and see which company seems to be repeated several several times!

For April I will do another small giveaway right before I leave for the states...I'm thinking a Soap/Bath Company as it seems good to change products up a bit. Give my viewers, followers, subbies the ability to try a little bit of everything.

Considering I really haven't done a 1 year on YouTube contest...I just might end up doing a contest when I hit 1500 subbies, since that seems like a big number to me. Especially considering I have been actively making videos now for just shy over a year. As of today I'm at 1229 subscribers on my Youtube, 221 followers on my Twitter and 33 followers on my blog.

On that note, I better start going through the comments on my current giveaway video...as I want to stay up on top of it...so that on the 15th I will be able to announce the winners!!!

GiveAway Time On the YouTube, Twitter and Blog

After some consideration, I figured it was time to do a fun little giveaway on all my different website pages that I have a following on.

Thus there will be various rules for each website that I have subscribers and followers on...so make sure that You are AWARE of which rules go to which page...as I will only repeat myself one time!!

The giveaways are all going to start on the same day and end on the same day and time...so pending on which one you enter...please be aware of this.

The items that are up for grabs are small goodies that I recently purchased from my favorite unique accessory esty store...Your Sweet Treat. I personally own 4 pieces of jewelry from this store (and two are on their way to me as well). I truly love the unique and adorable products, which is why I am giving everyone the opportunity to try to win something of their own.

Keep in mind I purchased these items up for grabs with my own money, for you all because I wanted to share a little bit of what I like with you!!!

Mail Call: Revlon ColorStay Eyeshadow Quad in Berry Bloom

So I went to my PO Box the other day and again was pleasantly surprised to find my Giveaway winning package from Miss Kelley AKA PhatGirlzRule.

As you can guess, I really like watching her channel, considering I have gotten two different items from her!!! See this is why I recommend checking her out, when she does reviews on make up products. She normally gets two of whatever she is talking about and offers one to her subscribers. You end up just having to answer a question that she poses in the review video and BAM, the item is yours!!!!

I won, Revlon's Color Stay Eyeshadow Quad in Berry Bloom, which is pretty cool. I love my Revlon Color Stay Foundation, but hadn't considered their eye products. Boy, do I really need to reconsider it!!! he he

The colors overall are pretty pigmented for a drugstore brand, and they will look great on any eye color. For some odd reason I have been noticing, as of recent, that Pinks/Berry shadows really pop on my skin tone. I don't know if it's because I'm olive tone, or if it's my brown eyes. But every time I wear shadows in that color selection, I always get a compliment or two.

As part of getting the freebie eyeshadow, Kelley requested my own review of the product as well as a look created using it. I plan on doing two, just to challenge myself more (I figure I could use the practice).

I do use all four colors from the Quad in this first created look, it's a smokey berry pink/purple. I paired it up with soft pink cheeks using Mayra's Cosmetics Blush Petunia's Touch. And a nudeish lip

I'm thinking Revlon has a good line with their Color Stay Products, tell will only tell. I used two different eye bases for this look. I am considering trying a look without any base and see how long the product lasts (without creasing or smudging).

I will keep you updated with my thoughts and eventually review of the item!!! Thanks again Momma Kelley!!!
